We all know that moving house is stressful but to have a great, professional and friendly experienced team who were willing to go to any length to get my move done, made my move almost pleasant as they were all cheery and unbelieverbly quick in every regard but used exstreme care was taken with all items. We’ve done many moves and this was one of our better ones. There wasn’t room in the truck for everything and two of my precious and very large plants were left behind. After the property was flooded I contacted a storage company in Hobart to arrange storage for the household items to be removed from the flooded property in to. The cost of this was over $170 a month. I then contacted Chris Bell to carry out the moving of the items, when Chris attended the site for a quotation (within just hours of my initial contact) he advised me they also had storage which I was unaware of, it was much more cost effective to have the items stored at Bells so I cancelled the other storage. That very same afternoon I had two removalists at the property who tagged the storage items, took the water damaged items to the tip, relocated two mattresses to another property and then took the remaining items to their storage. I really appreciate the prompt action taken and have already recommended this service to others who have been affected by the floods.

From my first meeting with Chris I was delighted by the professionalism, customer service and friendliness of Bells. They all went the extra mile for any queries or issues that came up. Ellie and Mouse did a fantastic job packing – the box labels were a life saver! Joseph, Rollsy and the Whisperer were very accomodating and amazing at spotting little pieces and putting them together with the larger item they belonged to. They happily moved my ridiculous amount of stuff and didn’t grumble in the least when I asked them to relocate some things they had already placed in the house (yes I’m that kind of customer!!). Our second move using Bells Removals. We wouldn’t hesitate in using them again. You just need to tell them when and where you would like to move and they take care of the rest. An inspection and quote is undertaken promptly, cartons are delivered and the truck turns up when it is suppose to. Although I am a big supporter of recycled boxes, many of the boxes we received for packing were in such poor condition they were almost unusable. Many boxes were not even packing boxes which meant they did not have the strength for a lot of household stuff.

Our experience of moving our furniture etc into storage then into residence 2 months later was made so easy due to fantastic staff. Removalists were efficient, careful and cheerful at all times.
